Because we believed in mums first

Two years ago, Project Foremum (fore-mum) began as a conscious effort to prioritize mums and their needs — simply because as caretakers filling our cups first helps us pour our hearts into our families. And so with Foremum Creations, we began to experiment with creating fuss-free kids clothing to make everyday for mums prettier yet easier. Whether it was bedtime pillow fights, kitchen messes, couch naps or pretend play we wanted apparel that felt like a breeze and moved with your child no matter what they were up to.

As mums ourselves with over two decades of experience we knew we wanted to create something from the heart. Born in Dubai against the backdrop of Covid-19 we decided to attempt and transform our isolation back then into i-sew-lation. Since then, we have not just grown in number but have also partnered with other wonderful mum-run businesses along the way. And when work brought us to Lahore we understood the opportunity therein and continued to source premium textiles whilst teaming up with talented artisans locally.

For us at Foremum, kids apparel isn’t simply great if it has a great design. It is great, if it looks good, feels good, is good to our bodies, good to the people who craft it, and if it’s kind to mother earth. That is why functional design is where intelligence, sustainability, mindful choices and impact comes together — the new kidswear. We are extremely proud that we’re doing exactly this: beautiful, thoughtful and comfortable everyday clothes for those we cherish the most.
